Prefeasibility Studies

Geovale’s consultants and associates have experience in preparation, management & review of scoping, prefeasibility and feasibility studies. As these reports are required for both debt & equity financing, we try and align it with the requirement of the financial institutions in order to make our studies more “bankable”.

Right from a preliminary assessment of mining potential to documents suitable for requesting bids for construction, Geovale closely works with the client on all the three important evaluation milestones namely – Scoping Study, Prefeasibility Study and Feasibility Study.

The level of confidence normally varies between +/- 50% for scoping study to +/- 10 to 15% for a bankable feasibility study.

Scoping Studies

Geovale undertakes rapid preliminary project assessment to determine if the property has potential to become a viable one and gives client the opportunity to consider the broad project options at an early stage. We thoroughly examine the completeness and level of confidence in existing data to find the gap for areas which need further detailed studies. Preliminary assessments of mining methods, project schedule, techno-economic and social risk assessment and cost estimation are also performed.

Prefeasibility Studies

We conduct prefeasibility studies to help investors identify the preferred options for the project development like geology, mineralogy and resource calculations, mining method, processing method, mining infrastructure, haulage, waste management, capital & operational cost estimation etc. This creates the basis for more detailed assessment required in Feasibility Study.

Feasibility Studies

As the last step for evaluation of a mining project before taking a ‘go or no-go’ decision, Geovale offers technical expertise and experience of its team members in framing a feasibility study with higher degree of details and accuracy than prefeasibility study. Our expert panel of geologists, mining engineers and Competent Persons (CPs) can deliver world class feasibility reports which the investors can use for fund raising.
