Hydrogeological Study and Watershed Management in Ramganga Basin

Geovale Hydro team is currently working on a significant watershed management project in the Ramganga Basin of Uttar Pradesh. Some of the key objectives of this project includes:

• Mapping the influent and Effluent streams of Ramganga
• Assessment of Seasonal Groundwater Resource Availability
• Mapping Floodplain wetlands and assessing their role in groundwater recharge
• Understanding the seasonal spatial and temporal variations in groundwater resources
• Understanding the hydrogeological setting of the catchment
• Understanding the impact of Interbasin transfer of irrigation water through an existing dam on base flows of the Ramganga
