Geovale Services in the IMME 2016

The 13th International Mining and Machinery Exhibition (IMME) was organized between 16th-19th November 2016, at Eco Park, Rajarhat, Kolkata, India. The Global Mining Summit (GMS) was also organized concurrently on 16th and 19th November at Mishtika Banquet Hall, Eco Park. With over 60000 Sq mtrs exhibition area, an important feature was the presence of a large outdoor display area which has been taken by some important brands to showcase live demonstration of Equipment’s and Machineries. IMME 2016 had 290 exhibitors with 88 exhibitors from Overseas from 14 Countries to participate in “The India Focused Event for Mining Industry”.

Ministry of Coal, Ministry of Mines, Ministry of Steel, Department of Heavy industry, Government of India, Coal India Limited were supporting the event along with State Government participation from Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Also, there was major participation from PSU’s, Nodal Agencies, Media and others.

Since its inception, IMME has proven to be the largest mining exhibition which centres on bringing together the key players of the segment, contributing to the growth of the Mining segment in India. IMME has become the Largest Trade Fair dedicated to the Mining Fraternity in India. IMME 2016 is the largest and focused event and it has surpassed the figures of the past editions and also to be the “One stop solution for all the Mining Equipment and Technology needs”.

Geovale Services participated in IMME 2016 along with group companies, Thriveni Earthmovers (MDO) and Sky Mining Services (Equipment leasing and maintenance service provider). Spread over an area of 80 sq.m, our stall elicited interest from a range of visitors which included Govt officials, Service providers, Mine developers, University students etc. Useful discussions were held with Australian and Canadian delegations on possible collaboration opportunities.

Geovale Services was also an important member of the team which prepared 2016 CII Annual Mining Report, released during the GMS.
