Geovale Services appointed as sole representative of SIMTARS in India

As you will be aware The Queensland Government owned Safety in Mines Testing and Research Station (Simtars), has been involved with the Indian Mining and Resource Industry, in the training and the implementation of gas monitoring systems for almost two decades now.

As the resource industry continues to evolve and modernise with changing technology and increasing environmental responsibilities, Simtars recognises that a global approach to mitigate many of these risks and challenges is required. It is with this in mind that Simtars is pleased to announce that further to the signing of its MOU with the Indian School of Mines (ISM) Dhanbad in February 2016, we have now appointed Geovale as our sole representative in India. Geovale are able to provide local technical responses to Simtars service offering and have an experienced team with intimate insight into health and safety risks in India’s mining sector. We are confident through leveraging Geovale’s capability and knowledge, Simtars will continue to grow as a reputable source of technical expertise for the mining and resource sector in India.
