Mr. Anjan Mukhopadhyay, a Mining Engineer, retired as a Director (Technical –
Operation) ECL, has more than 45 years of experience in Coal Mining and has
worked with various subsidiaries of Coal India Ltd. and had been part of Senior
Management of CCL, NCL, CMPDI, SECL and ECL for many years. His professional
qualification includes First Class Coal Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency, F I
E (India), Chartered Engineer (India), Grant of recognition as competent person to
prepare Mining Plan for Coal / Lignite Block (RQP) vide Ministry of Coal’s letter no.
34011/(10)/2007 – CPAM dt.9.4.2007 for a period of 10 years [ Listed as Sl. No. 67 in
the list of RQP in the MoC’s website He was instrumental in planning, development
and construction of large Open cast and UG projects.
